A Salt Hotels Gift Card is redeemable at any Salt Hotel. Gift cards can be redeemed for hotel stays and they can be used like a credit card at any of our hotel bars or restaurants.
The Fine Print
By accessing this website and/or using the gift cards issued by Salt Hotels, LLC. ("Salt Hotels") with card processing and other services provided by Salt Hotel's service provider, Givex Corporation ("Givex") (the "Card"), you agree to the following "Terms and Conditions" in addition to any terms and conditions, terms of use and privacy policies on the Salt Hotels and Givex Websites:
No expiration date or fees
The Card has no expiration date or service fees.
Card use
You must present the Card at the time of purchase. The purchase amount will be deducted from the available value remaining on this Card. If the value of your purchase exceeds the available value on this Card, you must pay for the remaining balance at the time of purchase. Cards are not refundable and cannot be redeemed for cash in any state, except where required by that state's law.
Participating locations, balances and use of card
Card issued by Salt Hotels or as otherwise indicated by Card branding. For Card balances and to review transactions, go to: salthotels.com/giftcards. You may use this Card at participating Salt Hotels hotels and restaurants. We're sorry, but the following locations do not accept gift cards at this time: retail stores and retail merchandise at individual property Front Desks.
Reloading cards
You may reload your Card online by visiting a participating location. Card reloads are processed by Givex, and any information shared will be subject to Givex's Privacy Policy
Reload limitations and rules
The minimum reload amount is $5.00. The maximum amount of funds that can be associated with a single card in any 24 hour period is $2,000 and there is limit of one (1) reload in any twenty-four (24) hour period. Salt Hotels may change the minimum and maximum reload amounts, the maximum card balance or any other reload features or limits at any time. You are responsible for checking these Terms and Conditions to determine if any changes have been made.
Non-returnable
Card are not returnable or refundable for cash, except where required by law.
No liability, lost or stolen cards
Protect this Card like cash. Neither Salt Hotels nor Givex is responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged Cards or unauthorized use. Risk of loss and title for Card passes to purchaser on transfer. If your Card is lost or stolen, immediately email Salt Hotels at info@salthotels.com. Your Card will be cancelled and a new Card will be mailed to you with any remaining Card balance as of the time it was cancelled. Lost or stolen Cards cannot be replaced without an original receipt from the place of purchase.
Compliance with laws and indemnity
By purchasing or using the Cards, you are certifying and representing to Salt Hotels and Givex that your use of the Cards will comply with these Terms and Conditions and all applicable laws, rules and regulations, and that the Cards will not be used in any manner that is misleading, deceptive, fraudulent, unfair or otherwise harmful to consumers or Salt Hotels. In addition, you agree to defend and indemnify Salt Hotels and Givex and their subsidiaries and affiliates from and against any claims made against or expenses or liabilities incurred by any of them arising out of your use of the Cards in violation of any of these Terms and Conditions or in violation of any laws.
No warranty of availability or uninterrupted use
From time to time the Card system may be inoperative, and when this happens, you may be unable to obtain information about the balance on your Card and Card transactions, or use your Card to pay for purchases. Please notify Salt Hotels if you have any problems using your Card. You agree that Salt Hotels, Givex and any other third party service providers and/or administrators shall not be responsible for any interruption of service.
No warranty regarding goods and services
Salt Hotels, Givex, and any third party service providers or administrators are not responsible for the quality, safety, legality, or any other aspect of any goods or services purchased by you with your Card.
Jury trial and class action waiver and jurisdiction
To the fullest extent permitted by law, you waive trial by jury with respect to any litigation arising out of or relating to these Terms and Conditions or your use of the Card. You further agree that any and all disputes or controversies between you and Salt Hotels and/or Givex shall be resolved on an individual basis without resort to any form of class action and shall not be consolidated with the claims of any other parties. Your waiver of the right to bring any dispute as a class action shall not be deemed unenforceable even if the governing state law would otherwise permit the action to be filed and prosecuted as a class action. These Terms and Conditions and any disputes arising out of or related to purchase or use of the Card will be governed by the laws of the State of New York, any state or federal legal actions must be brought in New York, New York.
Except as otherwise provided by law, these Terms and Conditions apply to all Cards, whether purchased at hotel/restaurant locations, online, or received from third parties.
Some or all of the Card services may be performed by Salt Hotels, Givex, and such party's third-party service providers and Salt Hotels and Givex may provide any and all of your data and other information reasonably necessary for such service providers to provide the Card services and/or administer the Card program.
Salt Hotels may assign this agreement at any time without notice.
These Terms and Conditions were last updated on December 13, 2018 and may be updated by Salt Hotels from time to time. We recommend that you periodically check these Terms and Conditions for changes.
